Powerlight Productions formed by Wilbert E. Simmons, /A/K/A/

"Chill-Will". I have been working with music since 1969 as a street DJ

& doing parties & many different clubs & school events. In 1970

started building up various connections in the music business. In the

80s I met with great R&B artists such as The Fatback Band, Frankie

Beverly & Maze & Bootsy's Rubberband, Peabo Bryson & many others that

inspired me to work with unsigned artists. In the 80s, I knew that I

had a talent concerning working with recording artists. Back in those

days I had my own break dancing crews that won many awards. I stepped

the game up & started managing my first rap group called, LSD that was

signed with Mass Appeal Records in ATL, after the group break-up, I

signed another young artist called, The Phi Crew Committee, they were

signed with a label called, Musicworkxx Recordings in Boston MA. As

the years went by, I made history in Elizabeth City N.C. by reaching

out to Mr. Russell Simmons & having the block buster movie, "Tougher

Then Leather" brought to my city. That was the turning point that I

knew that I was blessed with skills to make great things happen. I had

very important people that was watching me & offered me a job in The

U.K., East Africa & Hamburg Germany working with young talent. That

was in the 90s. I was in The UK from 2000-2006 & returned back to

America & my connections only grew very strong. I'm working with an

outstanding company @ the present with MPRE under the directions of

Mr. Anthony Quinn. Once again history is being made with the artists

signed under my personal management with the labels they are signed

with. This story is TBA as time unfolds.
