Getting to Rancho Margot
The journey to Costa Rica took 22 hours and since I was travelling by daylight, I reached the place by the evening
of the day. The journey was a dream come true. I explored the airports at the places where we stopped and I talked
about my project to a few people I met during the journey. I was awake during the entire 22 hours of the journey.
Later that evening, I got to the Costa Rica airport at 8 “O” Clock and to Rancho Margot by 12 midnight. I got 6
hours of sleep that night and I was ready to work the next day.
1st day experience
When I woke up in the morning, I met the volunteer I was going to be sharing the rooms with. His name was Theo. He
was from France. He told me about how he was still getting around to know the place. He said his background was
in Biotechnology and he intended to visit other parts of Costa Rica before heading back home. I made very good
