It’s eons ago that DP were
in the public eye, well it was
nearly 40 years since Purple
split, but good to think they
are not totally forgotten with
this reissue from Ear Music.
Some of the artists that were
once universally appreciated
are gradually slipping from
memory, while others are
having difficulty keeping
up with newer generations,
however Purple will always
have their loyal followers
and remain relevant in
today’s society being one
of the most influential and
successful bands of the 70’s.
