There is always debate going on around veteran DJ’s who will
only play music from back in the day and who choose to
ignore the new wave of producers who are making some
incredible music. Do you feel it is important for the longevity
of UK House & Garage as a scene to promote the new wave
of producers? And if so do you reflect this where possible in
your DJ sets?

ANSWER
Absolutely we love new music from old and new producers
and will always support them. What we need is club nights to
reflect that.
QUESTION
Are there any current new wave producers within the
boundaries of House & Garage music who we should be
keeping an eye on?
ANSWER
A Few to mention are Shift Key, DJD, Operator S, Cella dore&
Carp Diem.. Beat1 also pushing the House & Garage sound.
QUESTION
Another debate which is always going on is in regards to the
Vinyl versus CD versus MP3 formats when DJ’ing. It is not
uncommon to turn up to venues nowadays where turntables
are not provided. What equipment, or combinations of, do
you currently use when DJ’ing live?
