Greetings , and welcome to the 40th Annual Rampage Field Show Competition , hosted by William S . Hart High School . This milestone anniversary is especially meaningful to us , and we are deeply grateful for your presence today .
For four decades , we have been host one of Santa Clarita ’ s largest live musical events . Coordinating such a tournament takes immense dedication , and we would like to express our deepest thanks to College of the Canyons , whose continued partnership has been instrumental in making this event a success year after year .
As you watch today ’ s performances , we hope you will understand why Rampage has become a cornerstone of the marching season . For forty years , this event has been a beloved community gathering , supported by businesses , families , and individuals throughout the valley . Please take a moment to express your gratitude to the incredible volunteers and vendors you encounter today , as their tireless contributions are what make Rampage one of Southern California ’ s premier marching tournaments .
To the students performing today , we applaud your dedication and the countless hours spent perfecting your craft . In each performance , you will witness not only musical excellence but also the values of discipline , teamwork , and a love for the arts . We encourage you all to cheer for each and every ensemble with the enthusiasm you would for your own as we recognize the extraordinary talent , time , and effort they ’ ve invested in their performances .
This year marks my 25th year of being the Director of Bands at William S . Hart High School , and I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to everyone who has played a part in this journey . To the families , staff , faculty , and friends , your support is the backbone of this event and to your student ’ s success . I would also like to give a special thank you to the dedicated educators for sharing your expertise , to the administrators for your ongoing encouragement , and to the parents who have always gone above and beyond in every way imaginable — selling , sewing , cooking , building , transporting , chaperoning , and cheering us on . You are the true champions behind these programs . Your influence helps shape the future by nurturing tomorrow ’ s leaders .
