Ken Marquis “ The Voice ”
Hart High alum Ken Marquis has been the voice of Rampage every one of the last thirty-nine years and is proud to be back for the 40th annual event . A Southern California native , Ken was a “ not famous enough to be messed up now ” child actor .
He joined the Placerita Jr . High band and decided the alto saxophone would be his instrument because “ it was easy to carry on the back of my bike .” At Hart High , Ken was in the marching band all four years . As a Senior , he was selected to be Hart ’ s first-ever ‘ student ’ marching band field conductor .
He went on to earn a Bachelor ’ s degree in Radio / Television from San Francisco State University . Ken has worked behind the camera for NBC , HGTV , History Channel , MSNBC , and TechTV ( G4TV ), earning an Emmy nomination .
A resident of San Francisco since 1986 , Ken is currently a Sr . Director with the George P . Johnson Company ( gpj . com ), the world ’ s leading event and experiential marketing agency . He enjoys his work , traveling , and fixing up his 1910 Edwardian home . Ken encourages you to embrace the “ Rampage spirit ” and enthusiastically support ALL who perform today .
