Welcome, and thank you for joining us at the 41st Annual Rampage Field Show Competition, hosted by William S. Hart High School. Your presence truly enhances the spirit of today’ s event and we appreciate each and every one of you for being here today.
For over 40 years, we have had the privilege of hosting one of Santa Clarita ' s largest live music competitions. An event of this scale is a huge undertaking and would not be possible without our ongoing collaboration with College of the Canyons. Their exceptional facilities and dedication to this event are key in bringing Rampage to life, and we would like to extend our deepest gratitude to them for partnering with us.
Rampage has become a highly anticipated cornerstone of the marching season, and as you watch today’ s performances, we hope you will understand why.
For over four decades, Rampage has been made possible by the support of local businesses and individuals throughout the Santa Clarita Valley and beyond. We are so privileged to be a part of a community that consistently steps up to support students in the arts. As you come across our many volunteers and vendors today, please know that these are the people in our community who make Rampage one of Southern California’ s premier marching events. We ask that you join us in expressing gratitude for their involvement in today’ s event.
To the students performing today, we applaud your dedication and the countless hours spent perfecting your craft. In each performance, you will witness not only musical excellence but also the values of discipline, teamwork, and a love for the arts. We encourage you all to cheer for each and every ensemble with the enthusiasm you would for your own as we recognize the extraordinary talent, time, and effort they’ ve invested in their performances.
Finally, my heartfelt thanks go out to the families, friends, and alumnus of the Hart Regiment. Whether you are fundraising, sewing, cooking, building, transporting, chaperoning, or cheering us on from the stands, your support is the backbone of this event and to our students’ success. I would also like to give a special thank you to our staff for your unwavering dedication, our educators for sharing your expertise, and to the administrators for your ongoing encouragement.
We are incredibly proud to celebrate 41 years of Rampage with you, and we thank you for your continued support of these talented young performers. Let’ s make this a day to remember!
