KEN MARQUIS“ THE VOICE”
Hart High alum Ken Marquis has been the iconic voice of Rampage since the beginning. He proudly returns for the 41st consecutive time as " The Voice " of Rampage. A Southern California native, Ken ' s early career saw him as a child actor, a journey he humorously describes as " not famous enough to be messed up now."
His musical journey began in Placerita Jr. High, where he chose the alto saxophone because " it was easy to carry on the back of my bike." At Hart High, Ken dedicated four years to the marching band, culminating in his selection as Hart ' s first-ever " student " marching band field conductor.
He furthered his education at San Francisco State University, earning a Bachelor ' s degree in Radio / Television. Ken ' s impressive career behind the camera includes work for NBC, HGTV, History Channel, MSNBC, and TechTV( G4TV), where he earned an Emmy nomination.
A San Francisco resident since 1986, Ken currently holds the position of Sr. Director at the George P. Johnson Company( gpj. com), the world ' s premier event and experiential marketing agency. He finds joy in his work, traveling, and meticulously restoring his 1910 Edwardian home. Ken passionately encourages everyone to embrace the " Rampage Spirit " and offer enthusiastic support to all performers today.
