ElectroBraid™ is a 1 / 4 ” braid with a double helix of two 99 % pure , 14-gauge copper wire conductors woven through polyester fibers that are virtually unaffected by sunlight . Over time a due to the composition of copper , it can produce a patina on the braid . Hand-tensioned fences should be checked to keep them taut at all times .
