This holiday will take you by rail from London to the Terre Blanche Resort in the Provençal countryside. A private transfer will take you from the station in Cannes to your hotel. You have 7 nights at Terre Blanche Resort, with plenty of time to relax in the countryside and enjoy the hotel’ s extensive facilities.
DAY ONE London to Provence Depart on a morning Eurostar from London St Pancras to Paris where you change stations for your direct train journey to Cannes. Enjoy the changing scenery of the French countryside as your high-speed Eurostar or TGV heads south through the pastures of Burgundy, the hillsides of the Rhone and into Provence. We include a private transfer for your 40-minute journey from the station to your hotel.
DAYS TWO TO SEVEN In Provence at Terre Blanche Resort You have six full days at leisure at Terre Blanche Resort and Spa. The country resort is set in over 300 hectares of Provencal countryside, bursting with trees such as cedars, conifers and cypresses in the Pays de Fayence. There is a wide range of facilities to suit both adults and children. Firstly, the resort offers a variety of restaurants. The gastronomic restaurant, Le Faventia, has one Michelin star and boasts glorious views over the villages of Callian and Montauroux. Guests can also dine at Le Gaudina, a cosy dining terrace where creative food is accompanied by art and music, or at Les Caroubiers, overlooking the golf course. We highly recommend Terre Blanche Resort to avid golfers thanks to the two 18-hole golf courses at the resort. The courses sit at the very bottom of the resort, away from the cottages, and almost entirely out of view so as to not impose on the feel of the hotel. Take time to relax in the 3,200 square metre spa and fitness centre. There is a large outdoor infinity pool which sits in the centre of the resort, with an extensive pool deck and a whirlpool. Below the edge of the pool, partially hidden by verdant trees and plants, there is a children’ s pool. To one side of the resort, there is a children’ s club offering a variety of games and excursions.
DAY EIGHT Provence to London A private transfer returns you to Cannes, where a train leaves for Paris at 10.23 hrs. With a change of stations in Paris, you reach London just after 19.30 hrs. Depending on the timetable, there may be a Eurostar service direct to London from Marseille.
