King’s Cross St. Pancras – London, United Kingdom:
Multi-Modal Service Integration
King’s Cross St. Pancras interchange zone is the UK’s busiest transport interchange hub with over 95 million people passing
through the interchange zone every year. Interchange occurs between London Underground, main line and international rail,
and bus services other than private and para access and egress modes.
An underground ticket hall connects Kings Cross Underground Station to St Pancras International via the western concourse.
Interchange from King’s Cross main line to St Pancras is on street level. Works are currently underway to upgrade King’s
Cross Station to improve the passenger environment and improve connectivity across the interchange zone.
Movement paths within the interchange facility are largely direct and clear with good sight lines and little clutter. Spatial
management is good with mixed use spaces arranged to either side of movement spaces,

The station is used by InterCity Express, Intercity, Interregioexpress, Regional Express, Regional Bahn and S-Bahn trains.
The station also hosts several international trains.Below is the outline figure in which the type of arrangement for multi modal
