Pune Metro Update: Rs 888 Crore Approved For Hinjewadi- Shivaji Nagar Corridor Of Pune Metro Project

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, on Monday, approved a Rs 2,591 crore annual budget for the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority( PMRDA).
CM approved Rs 2,595 crore PMRDA budget includes-
• Rs 888 crore for Hinjewadi-Shivaji Nagar Pune Metro
• Rs 1,235 crore for Pune Ring Road
• Rs 152 crore for Mhalunge Township infra
• Rs 125 crore for development of regional plan roads
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, on Monday, chaired a meeting of Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority( PMRDA) at Vidhan Bhavan, Mumbai. Ministers Girish Bapat, Prakash Mehta and MLAs from Pune were present.
RFQ, Draft RFP and draft concession agreement for Hinjewadi-Shivaji Nagar Metro was placed before meeting for approval.

MMRDA Makes Budgetary Provision of Rs 4,700 Crore For 7 Metro Projects in Mumbai

Chief minister Devendra Fadnavis, on Thursday, approved the Rs 12,156.95 crore budget presented by the MMRDA( Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority) for 2018-19 for speedy implementation of various infrastructure projects.
The budget, which was presented at the authority’ s 145th meeting, on Thursday, has made large provision of funds for crucial projects such as-

Metro corridors
2.
Mumbai Trans Harbour Link
3.
Development of flyovers
4.
Creek bridges
5.
Road network
• Rs 1,262 crore for the Andheri( East) to Dahisar( East) Metro-7 corridor
• Rs 700 crore for the DN Nagar to Mandale Metro-2B
• Rs 500 crore for the Colaba-Bandra-SEEPZ Metro-3 corridor
• Rs 450 crore for the Wadala-Ghatkopar-Thane- Kasarvadavli Metro-4 corridor
• Rs 100 crore for the Thane-Bhiwandi-Kalyan Metro-5
• Rs 100 crore for the Swami Samarth Nagar-JVLR- SEEPZ-Vikhroli Metro-6 corridors
It has made a budgetary provision of Rs 4,700 crore for 7 metro projects including-
