Head Boy’ s Column Subheader stress that made the experience so enjoyable, but it was probably both. Even for the most strenuous projects that had us working till near midnight in school, the experience of doing it with like-minded friends made it enjoyable.
This sense of being part of a bigger community extends outside of my class and is the reason why I choose to throw myself into school life and my prefectorial work. Though it sometimes came at the expense of grades and school work, what drove me was a want to impact this community. Perhaps, these experiences have taught me how to put aside the embarrassment, awkwardness and possibility of rejection to do what I really love and feel for— whether that is going crazy at match support or contributing the wackiest ideas at Orientation planning meetings. Sometimes, these were bad ideas that eventually failed, and many others we laughed off for being impractical, but amidst all these wacky ideas, there were some that made an impact on our discussion and also caused us to rethink the way we approached the issue.

At the end, living the Rafflesian experience to the fullest involves throwing yourself into it and sometimes failing, but looking back, doing these things with great people was truly worthwhile.
Don’ t hesitate to cheer your heart out for friends fighting on the pitch, be willing to take part in Dramafeste even if you’ ve never acted before, initiate something to help a classmate who is academically weaker, give your best and make the best of this once-ina-lifetime experience.
