AND WHALEBONE WALKING STICK, circa 1840, finely carved
ivory hand grasping a stippled snake about to strike with cut copper fangs,
leather eyes, red polychrome mouth, wrapped around the wrist and forearm,
baleen spacer, on an octagonal paneled tapering to smooth whalebone shaft.
