295. WHALEMAN MADE BALEEN COVERED DITTY BOX, circa 1830-1840,
three lollipop fingers, 1 circle missing, with fine pierced carvings with paper backing to
accentuate the work, pinwheels, hearts, quarter moons and fylfot, conforming to a pine
scribed base, the oval pine top painted black with an ivory acorn finial and baleen straps
with ball head tacks.
