WHALE IVORY AND WHALEBONE WALKING STICK, circa 1840, with engraved silver disk and baleen, the turned ivory mushroom grip with silver plate cap – later engraved “Caroline Myers to Fuolge Cornley, 1911” with cabochon abalone center; the top half of the whalebone shaft carved with a twist and woven with a string of baleen ending in a knot; the remaining round shaft tapers to a brass ferrule.
