A BRITISH MAN-O-WAR”, worked with beaded gunports on a
background in shades of blue and white. Together with a printed and
embossed trade notice inscribed “Needle-Work: Done by a Sailor, on board
the H.M.S Cleopatra on the coast of Africa, Price 100 Guineas”. Both in
antique wood frames. 20 ½ in. x 24 ¾ in. & 8 ½ in. 10 ½ in.

with curled sideburns, long hair, excited eyes, formal coat and vest behind foliage. Height 8 in.
