Brianchon’s art education began at the
Ecole des Arts Decoratifs in Paris, where
he first demonstrated his characteristic
decorative appearance within his
poetically realistic images. During his
career, Brianchon represented his home
country of France at the 1934 Venice
Biennale, won the Carnegies Prize in
1939 and became one of the official
artists for the coronation of Queen
Elizabeth II.
