“Ocean Stead” between 1860 and 1865 and repainted August 1906 “James J. Jones.” The whaling Bark Massasoit was built in 1825
in Plymouth, Massachusetts, making 5 whaling voyages between 1841 and 1862. Sold in 1862 and renamed Ocean Steed making 2
