Flt Lt Hodson of 4626 Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron joined the RAF Reserves in April 2004 as a newly qualified nurse .
“ I joined the squadron as a corporal and decided I wanted to commission in December 2008 . I am currently a Flight Lieutenant Nursing Officer as Emergency Nurse Lead and Officer Commanding B Flight within the Squadron . I am involved with training , recruitment interviews and a committee member of both Royal College of Nursing - Defence Nursing Forum and Royal Society of Medicine - Military Medicine specialism .
