I've done a few baby photos and I must say I really enjoy them. Every one is so different. I love their little giggles when they find something funny and when they trust you they come up and give you a wee cuddle. Of course sometimes there is a few tears and that's when you know they've had enough but you know that you already got "that" photo.
One of the most fun events for a baby turning 1 is a Cake Smash. They are so much fun and if you don't mind your little one getting all goo-ied up even better. They start off with "hmm a cake all for me" then there's the touching, feeling that gooey stuff on top (if you've made lots of icing or used cream) and then hopefully they'll go for it. This really is a lot of fun. Of course you'll need a change of clothes but hey it's worth the extra washing for that much fun. When they are a little older they are even messier and those can be some really amazing photos.
Baby and toddler birthday parties are fun too - watching them grab at their presents and unwrap them but most of all enjoying the wrapping paper more than the presents themselves.
