Recovery Steps

DRILL FOUR MOGUL STEP

Objectives :

1- The mogul step is used especially on hard courts when the player has been pulled wide . 2- This step will allow the player to hit the ball while recovering at the same time .
Execution : 1- When the player has been pulled wide , either to the forehand or backhand . 2- The player hits the ball open stands , as he or she is hitting the ball his or her feet are in the air . 3- The player keeps his or her center of gravity , giving him or her control over the body . 4- This movement will allowed the player to break and to change direction to the middle of the court . 5- When the player lands , open stance on the inside leg and then he or she pushes off with the outside leg to start the recovery , making this step very efficient .
