FEDERATED EMPLOYERS MUTUAL ASSURANCE COMPANY The Federated Employers Mutual Assurance Company ( Rf ) ( Pty ) Ltd ( FEM ) was established as a mutual insurer in 1936 . FEM provides workmen ’ s compensation insurance for the construction industry .
Workmen ’ s compensation is a compulsory form of insurance providing compensation to employees , or their dependents , in the case of death or disablement caused by occupational injuries and diseases and is governed by the Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act , ( 130 of 1993 ) ( COID Act ).
FEM is one of the two private sector companies that have been issued a license to provide services under the COID Act , by the Minister of Employment and Labour . The rates used to determine the premium payable , are provided by the Minister .

FULL GAUGE CONTROLS In this edition of FRIGAIR the Full Gauge Controls company will present the electronic expansion valve VX-1025E plus , a complete and compact product for refrigeration systems . VX-1025E plus replaces the controller or thermostat in the installation , as it controls the refrigeration processes ( superheating , room temperature , defrost , pressure , ventilation , lighting , and alarms control ), in addition to the flow of liquid .
Because of the current precision and technology in all Valex line products , the user saves approximately 20 % in the purchase of equipment to complement the installation , since they can be more compact and have less capacity . The user will also have similar immediate savings on the electricity bill , among other advantages such as durability and reduced maintenance .
VX-1025E plus features : new Plugable and Push-In quickpairing-connector systems ; an internal device that does not require using a solenoid in case of power failure ; Smooth Defrost function for smoother and more power-saving defrosts ; configurable power-saving setpoint and fast-freezing functions ; internal real-time clock that allows programming defrost events and power-saving setpoint ; and more . This product is UL certified and has a serial communication for connection to Sitrad PRO software and the Sitrad Mobile app .
FUCHS LUBRICANTS Fuchs will be showcasing , amongst others , the Reniso SE / SEZ series that are fully synthetic , ester-based refrigeration oils for fluorinated HFC and HFO refrigerants such as :
