Materials and components are sourced from proudly South African suppliers where possible, and all assembly is completed in the local factory. Giving an industry outlook, he says, “I think local manufacturing will continue to be under pressure in a slow economy, though growth in other parts of Africa can provide diversified markets. While, locally we hope for growth and a booming economy, indications are that trading conditions will remain constrained in the short to medium term directly affecting the HVACR market.” In order to stay ahead, he advises, “as local manufacturers, we need to ensure that we offer products and services in line with first world specifications tailored to local conditions and requirements.” Electrovent prides itself in having certified product going out into the market.
