TRANE LAUNCHES NEW ARIES N PROPANE CHILLERS
Trane has announced its new Aries N air-to-water chillers . Trane Aries N is a new generation of chillers , designed to feature natural refrigerant and to present a valuable alternative for old high-GWP ( global warming potential ) HFC or NH3 chillers in comfort and process installations . These state-of-the-art chillers use R-290 ( propane ) natural refrigerant , providing excellent thermodynamic and energy efficiency capabilities in cooling capacities from 175kW – 335kW .
R-290 is a non-toxic , natural refrigerant with a direct global warming potential of 0.02 and zero ozone depletion potential ( ODP ). In addition , there are also increasing tax benefits from choosing R-290 . Featuring dual circuit design , EC fans , electronic expansion valves and semi-hermetic inverter-driven compressors , exceptional efficiency is ensured across varying cooling demands . Additionally , customers can choose from optional features such as partial heat recovery and super low noise functionality .
The Aries N chillers are well suited for industrial process cooling applications and serve as an excellent choice for comfort cooling in commercial HVAC systems . They are
