CARRIER’ S AQUAEDGE 19MV NOW AVAILABLE WITH ULTRA-LOW GWP REFRIGERANT
The AquaEdge 19MV water-cooled centrifugal chiller is now available with ultra-low global warming potential( GWP) refrigerant R-1234ze( E).
The addition of an ultra-low GWP refrigerant continues Carrier’ s commitment to providing customers with solutions that use the right refrigerant for each application, while helping to reduce carbon footprint.
The 19MV continues to be available with the option of R-513A or R-515B refrigerants and is designed to deliver reliable performance, incredible efficiency, easy installation and a wide
operating range. In January, Carrier introduced an updated, more compact version of the 19MV, with a narrower footprint that is 18 % smaller than the previous version.
Both versions of the 19MV provide the ability to operate at severe conditions due to unexpected building operation or extreme weather. Carrier is shifting to lower GWP refrigerants across its chiller offerings.
