Daikin has introduced the new generation Daikin Altherma 3 M Monobloc heat pumps with climate-friendly R-32 refrigerant .
The new Daikin Altherma 3 M models are available in lower 4kW , 6kW and 8kW capacity classes with a redesigned outdoor unit to complement the portfolio of Daikin Altherma 3 M air-towater heat pumps in the 9-16kW range . These products feature a compact design that makes them ideal for tight installation spaces . A power pack for heating and cooling any type of building , the Daikin Altherma 3 M is now available in lower capacity classes .
Despite lower power ranges , the new Daikin Altherma 3 M models deliver optimum performance – even at below-freezing temperatures . With an operating range down to -25 ° C , the heat pump is 100 % reliable and efficient in winter – it achieves an LWC ( leaving water condenser ) temperature of 60 ° C at -5 ° C outdoors without an additional heating element . In addition to highly efficient A +++ operation , the Daikin Altherma 3 M is an exceptionally sustainable solution for heating and cooling . The use of R-32 refrigerant with a lower GWP ( global-warming potential ) ensures climate-friendly operation .

TECHNICAL DESIGN PROPERTIES
• The 22 HS-11 model comprises a hermetic gas water heater with fan
• Through the special hermetic flue set that is used , the burning air is obtained from the exterior while the waste flue gas resulting from the burning is discharged to the exterior through the same hermetic flue set
• Heating power of 19.7kW , which equals a hot water capacity of 11l / min
• Natural Gas and LPG product options are available ; product must be ordered according to the fuel to be used
• Fuel conversion can be carried out by authorised service centres for a fee
• Thanks to the electronic ignition system , ignition occurs electronically when the tap is turned on and hot water is obtained at the temperature you set
• Saves usage and assembly space due to its compact size
EXCELLENCE IN SAFETY
• Excessive Heating Safety – an excessive heat lock steps into action when the temperature of the utility water exceeds 85 ° C . It stops ignition and prevents the intake of gas
• Ionisation Electrode – It checks whether or not there is flame in the burner . It interrupts ignition and prevents the intake of gas if the burner flame goes out for whatever reason
• Flue Gas Pressure Start – The burner shuts down if any problem occurs in the flue draught in the waste gas discharge system
• Low Voltage Protection
• Gas Cut-off Safety System – The device shuts down automatically if there is a cut-off in the gas supply for whatever reason
