GOLF DAY – WINS ALL ROUND

This year , held at the Irene Country Club in Pretoria , the annual gathering to compete with fellow businesses or to just again have some fun was another successful delivery .
From the time the day began and players started arriving shortly after 07h00 at the centre ’ s 33 rd annual day , spirits were already high . This sentiment was carried throughout the day for the 33 teams , even though the weather didn ’ t entirely play along the whole day – two instances were signalled where everyone was called off the field because of the conditions . The rules of the day included a shotgun start , 4 ball alliance and two scores to count .
Having the opportunity to once again come together face to face and the exceptional turnout again proved the fact that all industry role players are on-board to get back to normal in terms of business and relationship building . Networking and reconnecting with friends was bountiful while the feeling of a much better industry-mood was definitely in the air .
The day ’ s play was also well supported by the sponsors where holes throughout the course had various activities and fun for the players to engage on – from chipping shots using marshmallows to the fastest team to complete a hole , nearest to the pin , longest drive and even ‘ walking the plank ’ at the pirate ship-bar . Snacks and refreshments were also on offer .
As the day progressed and teams came to complete the 18 holes , players and guests had time to get ready for the evening dinner and prize giving that was even better supported , with around 170 people in attendance . The master of ceremonies for the evening was
