SAIRAC LUNCH
CELEBRATES INDUSTRY PROS

The SAIRAC Johannesburg Centre came together in October to
celebrate great minds in the industry.
G
athering at the Johannesburg Country Club in Woodmead,
Robert Fox, centre chairman, was the MC. He welcomed
guests, thanked key organisers of the event, gave course updates,
shared some information about the 2020 calendar as well as the
upcoming 2021 Frigair exhibition.
The Fellows received a SAIRAC branded Andy Cartwright
knife set.

Robert Fox extended apologies from guests who couldn’t come.
He also introduced the guest speaker for the day, former rugby
union player, Naas Botha. He shared a few anecdotes of his time
in field and gave an overview of the Rugby World Cup, stating that
strategy determines outcome.

After the guest speaker had finished, Robert Fox announced
the recipient of the Mike Veldon award, which was awarded to
Ilana Koegelenberg. “This is for the SAIRAC member who has
contributed to the industry in 2019,” he said.
Afterwards, guests were treated to a buffet style lunch with all
sorts of delicacies. RACA
