Together with the testo Smart App, the imager offers a wide range of practical measurement programs that make everyday work much easier:
• Thermography: Easily detect hot electrical connections, contactors and circuit-breakers and motors. Detects failing bearings, misaligned belts, temperatures on pumps and any other mechanical fault that may cause friction and heat. Ideal for checking faulty, or poorly maintained insulation.
• DeltaT: Temperature differences between two points that can be freely selected on the screen.
• HotSpot and ColdSpot detection: Two dynamic measurements that track the hottest and coldest spot in view and display their temperatures live.
• Reporting: Easily generate and edit a comprehensive report on-site from your mobile device, without the need for paperwork, or a PC.
These functions allow rapid diagnosis of problems that would otherwise remain undetected and could potentially lead to costly or dangerous follow-on damage.
EASY HANDLING AND FLEXIBLE USE The testo 860i not only impresses with its high functionality, but also with its exceptional user-friendliness. Thanks to the retractable clip, the imager can be attached directly to the smartphone or tablet, allowing easy one-handed operation. The wireless connection to the testo Smart App allows the imager to be used with both hands. The App offers an intuitive user interface, guided measurement programs, and easy export of thermal images and fast documentation – including sending reports by email.
