over the next few months stating that the coronavirus and trade
war between America and China will come with certain market
dynamics, impacting supply. “We will share updates as and when
they happen,” said Yoon.
Richard Perry, MD of Fourways Airconditioning reiterated
Yoon’s message of support adding that Samsung is a fast
decision-making company should issues or queries occur. The
good relationship they have with Samsung is what gives them the
added advantage of responding to issues promptly. To guests, he
expressed his appreciation for support throughout the years.
“Because of everyone in the room, we have seen a 15%
increase in sales despite a downward spiral in various sectors
of the economy, like agriculture, construction, manufacturing,
electricity, gas and water, and mining. Thank you all,” said Tinus
du Plessis, training and business development manager at
Fourways Airconditioning. He stated that the warranty structure
has changed to five years, “which includes all parts, PC boards and
fan motors. The warranty won’t only focus on the parts but will
include labour.” Additionally, Samsung provides access to training
courses, practical advice and ongoing support – tools that suit
dealers’ needs to function as a well-oiled machine.
To help dealers generate new business, Jenna Lemos, IT head
of the air-conditioning Group gave an overview of ‘MyPortal’ – an
online tool available on the web and as an App. “The tool will help
you to keep track of new and current installations and services.
It allows you to load your business profile, including brochures,
service radius, services provided, and so on. Additionally,
clients can be sent quotes from the portal. Clients can even rate
technicians. We’ve already had a lot of hits from it.” Dealers can
register online.
