Our Objectives & Goals
To increase primary school students’ environmental
awareness, understanding and sensitivity for the
environment and their shared responsibility within the
context of Trinidad and Tobago national SDG’s supported
by UNDP.
To build student capacity to acquire skills for identifying,
solving environmental problems and facilitating
environmental actions within the school or community
with parent support.
To help students concretize and reinforce environmental
lessons learned and to share creatively through written
and art forms. ideas, expectations, inspirations and
dreams of their environment.
To introduce children’s books as an innovative model
and advocacy tool for young children to promote
environmental awareness and sustainability in the
context of literacy.
To create a repertoire of easy to use tools for teacher
curriculum instruction and replication.
