Hello Mickaël, can you summarize your
background and what led you to fashion?
My journey began in Tours where I studied studio art in
high school. After I graduated and having been accepted
at the Duperré school (fashion school), I arrived in Paris.
I have always been attracted by fashion. I’d been talking
about style since elementary school. The idea got lost
during my adolescence, only to reappear after graduating,
when choosing a major. I couldn’t picture myself in
any other design job such as graphic design, industrial
design or architecture... The succession of collections,
working under pressure, searching for new ideas... they
all coincide perfectly with my way of working and are
what makes me love fashion design.
As part of your fashion design studies, you
created the Albus project. Can you explain
your approach and what inspired you?
The Albus collection is inspired by albino people, their
singularity and the physical characteristics of their
mutation. Their peculiarity excludes and contrasts with
normality. My interest in these individuals comes from
the light they emit, the beauty of their hair and purity
