Did you have some training before entering the workforce? If so, what kind?
I was always attracted to manual labor.
I had my most important training during childhood; I loved being with my father and
grandfather when they were using power tools. My grandfather was a self-taught
carpenter and was intuitive in his inventions. I learned a lot from them.
After trying the labor market and CEGEP, I quickly dawned on me that, this was not
the kind of life I wanted; and followed my creative instinct. I took a class in cabinetry
to improve my skills and now I keep on learning by myself. There is always something
new to learn!
