LOCAL from Trenton When Kate and I first met I was absolutely en- thralled with the conversations we would have. I was amazed at the intellectual who could keep me engaged, which was a very difficult task as I bore easily. Not once was this ever the case When Kate and I were together, I was always so fasci- nated about what the next conversation that we might engage in. She begun to change my world views the moment I met her and still continues to do so. She on the other hand, slightly con- cerned with my passion for fashion. For good reason on our first date I was most excited after dinner to go shopping for new clothes. To this day we joke about the fact that I had begun plans to change the décor in her house the moment I first visited (no one and I mean no one should have wallpaper or carpet in the kitchen). None the less she accepted me for me and that bred a love everlasting. I instilled in her my passion for travel and she instilled in me her joy of peace and relaxation. When I finally decided to take the next step in our relationship and propose to the love of my life I began to plan out in my head what would be the perfect situation. I plan this around a trip to Colorado because I know the scenery would 42 make for the best pictures I put the details in place photographer, perfect ring, and what think about what I am going to say. I set all this up with my photographer the big moment comes and although I had planned out exactly what I was going to say and express my undying love for her I was so nervous that all I could do is get on one knee and ask if she would marry me. When she said yes the excitement over came the nerves and all felt right with the world. Fast forward to planning our wedding and this was truly one of the most unique experiences of our life. It’s exciting, joyous, nerve racking, stressful, cheerful and exhilarating. We wanted to make all the details perfect even though Kate and I may be the only one to notice them but that was okay because we knew these memories would last a life time for us. Although we did our best to prepare for everything there is no way in the world we could have prepared for the amount of love we felt on that day. The room was truly engulfed in love on this special day and this is something that will live in our hearts for a life- time.
