Noah and I met at the Adams County Fair in July of 2015 . We were introduced by a mutual friend and we immediately felt like we had known each other forever . We immediately became best friends , that turned into a relationship .
At this time we had both decided on our # 1 college , and they happened to be 7 hours away from each other . Although the distance was hard , we both knew we had to find ourselves and take the best path to pursue our dream careers , supporting each other through it all . It was fun to visit each other .
Noah graduated Mizzou in 2019 and I graduated from Marquette University in 2020 . In May of 2020 , we moved to STL so I could attend Optometry School at UMSL . In August before school began , Noah proposed to me on a beach in Destin , FL at sunset . I am hard to surprise , and he was successful in hiding this from me as he often reminds me that he finally “ got me ”.
We had a 2 year engagement to prepare for the 460 guests who attended our wedding . We got married on October 22 , 2022 . If you recall the day , the weather was 80 and sunny and to us a perfect day to get married . It was the best time to reunite with some our closest friends we do not get to see as much , but to have them standing up there with us means the world to us . We were surrounded by loving family and friends and are so thankful we could share such a special day with so many people .
At the reception , every one could not stay off the dance floor . It was definitely a party and we are so happy everyone had fun . We could have stayed all night long . To break up the night and as an ode to where we first met , we had late night fair food snacks like cheese curds , corn dogs , chicken strips and fries which was an absolute hit . Highly recommend . We could not have asked for a more perfect day and a more perfect life ahead as husband and wife .
