together ; Napa Valley , the Golden Gate Bridge , Chicago , St Louis , Denver , Dead and Company , Dave Matthews Band , and Chris Stapleton Concerts .
To tie that theme into our reception , we had each guest table named after a different band . When the guests arrived at the Oakley Lindsay Center , they each picked up their personalized concert ticket that included the table number and band name . Even our parents had their tables named , Bob Seger and BTO . Sara created a Will Call that had an oversized backdrop of our concert poster and just like at a concert or festival , our guests were able to pick up their table assignments / concert tickets at will call and head into the party .
With 500 guests in attendance , our floorplan had to be unique . Rectangle , Square , and circle tables ranged from 8 to 32 guests and created fun groups to keep the party going . We also provided two lounge areas that had rugs , couches , and tables for our guests to relax after dancing ( or after too many beers ). Lavish Floral created beautiful flower arrangements , centerpieces , and even hanging arrangements over our lounges and dance floor . McCormick ’ s Catering , Justin ’ s cousin and new to Quincy catering , supplied 5 different meats , numerous sides and a salad bar that was “ some of the best reception food ever ”. Cake Decorating Etc . stuffed dessert tables with cupcakes , mini pies , and pettifors , that got rave reviews from the guests as well . Tower Pizza / Gem City provided late night munchies for guests on their way home . We used many other local vendors , Verve Imports , LoinLondon , Bailey ’ s , Popp ’ n on Maine , Rinella , Quincy Tea Co , and we couldn ’ t be happier with how our weekend went . Everyone went above and beyond what we expected to create a perfect day and fun event for our guests .
