Chris and I met at church when we were 4 & 5 years old ! We grew up friends but really connected after high school . For a long time we were each others best friends- our friendship came first . We were the guy and girl best friends who denied to ourselves and others that it was anything beyond that . After being besties for far too long our friendship grew into a relationship and shortly after , an engagement !
The day after we got engaged I was wedding planning . My first phone call was to Sara Lung with Lakeview Weddings . I was blown away by photos of the venue online . When we visited Lakeview was when we really fell in love with it . Even my husband was speechless ! The windows gave us the bright , airy look we were going for . The gold chairs and chandelier added such an elegant feel to our wedding day . The venue was so beautiful in itself that we added very few decorations .
Our flowers provided by Abby at Lavish Floral completed the entire look that we were hoping for . She was able to take a vision that I had and create my dream floral arrangements . The colors matched perfectly with my bridesmaid ’ s dresses- I got so many compliments on them !
The whole day for me was a dream . I had been nervous about things not going the way I had imagined , dresses not fitting , colors not matching , and being too stressed to enjoy what was supposed to be the happiest day of my life . That is wear Sara comes in and saved the day ! When I hired Sarah Elizabeth Weddings to coordinate I knew I was making the right decision . I had heard all of the wedding horror stories- so many people warned me of how stressful wedding planning is . I did not want that to be me ! Thanks to Sara I was able to enjoy planning my wedding , and relax on my wedding day . Sara created lists , contacted vendors , and thought of ideas that would have never crossed my mind . She was my right hand girl a month before the wedding and on my wedding day . She was personable , but kept things very professional and organized . The day was a breeze for me ! Everyone was shocked my how relaxed I was . It was all thanks to Sara ! I can honestly say that the day was perfect because she worked out all of the kinks without me even knowing about it .
