Q : Is it mandatory to have a mass before my quinceanera ? Or can I just have the party ?
A : Having a mass before the party has been a tradition associated with quinceaneras for a long time . This special mass includes everyone from the quinceanera including , family , the court of honor , godparents , and friends . The mass represents the young woman receiving holy communion and committing herself to God and the Virgin Mary . With that being said , it is completely up to you if you want to have mass before the big celebration !
