Who is the most influential woman you know ? How does she inspire you ? My sister Cielo inspires me every day . A couple of years ago , my father was detained by I . C . E and we would visit my father at the detention center three times a week . My sister became an advocate for the detainees while being a spokesperson for my father ’ s legal case all while balancing school life . Through this hard time , my sister put others before her and still became the 10th student in the Santa Ana Unified School District to be accepted into the prestigious Ivy League , Harvard University . She not only inspires me , but she inspires a community of dreamers and young children to strive for their goals no matter how small the city is .
What are some of the biggest challenges that women face today ? The biggest challenge women face today is the unequal opportunities we face in all areas of our lives . The lack of presence in males dominated jobs , not having the freedom to dress how we ’ d like , and most importantly the inadequate pay gap between men and women .
