A : When planning your quince , choosing a dress can seem intimidating since all eyes will be on you ! But it is important to start the planning of choosing and buying your dress ! I would recommend starting dress shopping 8-12 months before your party . It may seem like it is an early time but often quince dresses need extra time to be created or ordered from another vendor . Not to mention the extra time that you need if you plan to get alterations done . The earlier you purchase your dress makes one less thing to stress about and allow you to continue down your party checklist .
Q : When should you do the candle ceremony ?

A : The ceremony of candles is traditionally done during the church ceremony or mass . If you are having a church ceremony , we advise you to do it then and coordinate with the church . If you are not going to have a church ceremony , you can incorporate it into your party in a creative way with music and a special announcement . Work with the DJ to find the right moment . During the ceremony , hand out each candle to 15 of the most influential people in your life . You will make a speech explaining you gave each candle to that person . You could have shared a special moment with someone or have a memory that has stuck with you . This is your time to honor them and thank them for being special people in your life .
