Pockets full of blessings
Nancy Devine
"When you're worried, and you can't sleep, just
count your blessings instead of sheep, and
you'll fall asleep, counting your blessings,"
sings Bing Crosby in White Christmas, one of
my all-time favorite holiday movies.
That movie, and that silken voice, were the
inspiration behind Pockets Full of Blessings,
a wall quilt that can be used as an Advent
Calendar to countdown the days until
Christmas, and a hold-all for various things
throughout the rest of the year. Use it to help
organize a sewing room, office or dorm room.
It's all about the pockets.
