• Malpractice( Professional Liability) coverage – Are you only covered for any malpractice claims while you are currently employed, or do you have“ tail coverage” for claims made against you while you are no longer with that employer?
Important Terms to Watch For:
• Broad non-compete clauses with long durations or wide geographic scope
• Claims-made malpractice coverage without employer-funded tail insurance on termination
• Unilateral adjustment clauses allowing compensation terms to change mid-contract
