Operator Training
In addition to the training, competency and CE requirements that all x-ray equipment operators are subject to, CBCT machines can only be operated by individuals who are specifically trained in its use.
The operators must have training in:
• Performing routine QC, including the use of a CBCT phantom( Note: Phantoms should have been supplied when the unit was installed. If not, please contact your manufacturer)
• A schedule of routine QC appropriate for the system
• Allowable variations set by the QMP, if required, for the indicated parameters
• The results of, at least, the most recent routine QC completed on the system
