Operator Training
In addition to the training , competency and CE requirements that all x-ray equipment operators are subject to , CBCT machines can only be operated by individuals who are specifically trained in its use .
The operators must have training in :
• Performing routine QC , including the use of a CBCT phantom ( Note : Phantoms should have been supplied when the unit was installed . If not , please contact your manufacturer )
• A schedule of routine QC appropriate for the system
• Allowable variations set by the QMP , if required , for the indicated parameters
• The results of , at least , the most recent routine QC completed on the system
