Queensland Brides Winter 2023 - ISSUE 122 | Page 6

EDITOR ’ S LETTER

The Brisbane mornings are still a little chilly here at QB but this cover is giving us all the springtime vibes ! How lucky are we to be living and celebrating in a part of the world where you can frolic in the sunshine in the middle of winter ?

This joyful image popped out at us from one of the stellar styling shoots we have in store for you this issue . Along with this Europeaninspired beauty , there ’ s also a sophisticated alfresco soirée and a 70s-inspired disco good time to enjoy from p . 32 .
And don ’ t worry , we ’ ve got plenty of cosy options too , including fashion pages dotted with sleeved gowns and plush faux-fur shrugs . Perfect for that late afternoon photocall when you ’ re roaming the countryside with your new husband or wife . Layer up from p . 16 .
Fun fact about weddings : location is key . Have you found yours yet ? Many couples tell us that locking in their venue made everything else fall into place pronto . So , we ’ re shining a light on some of the state ’ s best locations for love as part of our 18-page reception feature , kicking off on p . 54 . Happy scouting !
And , as always , the best place to grab some real inspiration is in our real weddings feature . This issue we have nine insanely beautiful and unique celebrations kindly shared by couples just like you .
Wishing you all the best , enjoy the ride !
