REAL WEDDINGS

( Above & right ) The couple entrusted their dream team to create a timeless , romantic mood . ( Below ) The look of love . Ange credits their celebrant with setting the tone for the day .
“ As a marriage celebrant ( as well as breakfast news reader ), Ange knew all about Queensland ’ s most picturesque wedding venues ” the bridal bouquet left Ange in delighted tears ! “ It was a childhood dream come true ,” she recalls . With little direction and only a few photos , Terianne created floral arrangements and an arbour that captured all the couple wished for on their dream day .
For the happy couple , their wedding was a chance to celebrate the family they have created with their closest loved ones — and emotion was certainly running high .
“ Our celebrant Carly Slade created such a beautiful ceremony and really set the tone for the day ,” Ange says . “ There wasn ’ t a dry eye in the ceremony space ! Josh set everyone off , with tears rolling down his face the moment our daughter Hallie came down the aisle in the arms of her grandma Janet ”.
Of course , Ange and Josh didn ’ t forget to include a certain four-legged furball . “ Our best man was Arlo , the five-year-old German Shepherd who brought us together ,” says Ange . Arlo ran up the aisle as Ange walked down . Perfection !
An intimate wedding ( so very on-trend , thanks Covid !) is something the newlyweds don ’ t hesitate to recommend . “ We loved having just 45 guests : those people we consider will be around for life ,” says Ange . “ It meant we got to have a conversation with them all during the reception .”
