It ’ s this writer ’ s opinion that every good story involves dogs ; therefore , it ’ s only fitting that this story involves a pup bringing two people together . German Shepherd Arlo played Cupid for Ange and Josh , after the pair met at the Rode Road Dog Park in Brisbane . Josh , immediately drawn to Ange ’ s fur baby , offered to walk him when Ange was busy at work . One thing led to another , and it was only a matter of time before the trio were one happy family .

After welcoming miracle baby Hallie into the world in March , the couple knew it would be the perfect time to tie the knot . “ We knew if we didn ’ t set a date we ’ d keep putting it off ,” says Ange . “ It was about formalising a union which has existed in our hearts from very early on .”
As a marriage celebrant ( as well as a breakfast news reader ), Ange knew all about Queensland ’ s most picturesque wedding venues . And the breathtaking private estate of Maleny Manor in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland was an easy choice . “ It ’ s got beautiful views , delicious food and the staff are so friendly and warm !” Ange enthuses . “ We also liked that there was accommodation on site for our families and a few close friends .”
It was the perfect backdrop for the couple ’ s sophisticated and romantic theme , leaving the aesthetic direction entirely in the hands of Terianne from Mondo Floral Designs . “ We wanted a style that wouldn ’ t date when we look back at photos ,” Ange explains . “ Her work is effortlessly exquisite .” Terianne more than exceeded expectations — in fact ,
