We know you want to know more about Sia and Savva ’ s epic wedding at The Greek Club – but first we need to talk about that dress ! “ I had always dreamt of having my dress made by J ’ Aton ,” reveals Sia . “ I remember they were the first account I followed on Instagram ! It was a no-brainer for me , so I travelled to Melbourne , met with Jacob , and was absolutely flawed by his creativity and expertise .” Well noted . The groom wasn ’ t forgotten in the style stakes either . “ Savva ’ s suits were made by a friend at Black Jacket Suiting – he does the best tailoring in Brisbane ,” says Sia . Okay , fashion fix done , let ’ s flash back to where it all began . Sia and Savva met through their parents ( who happened to be best friends !) when the pair were just 14 years old . “ We grew up together and we close friends for almost eight years before we finally got together and starting dating when we were 20 ,” revealed Sia . “ We knew right from the first date we would get married , and here we are six years later !” For his proposal , Savva chose the pair ’ s favourite holiday destination ( clever ). “ Savva organised a romantic weekend away to Byron Bay , our favourite place ,” says Sia . “ He led me to the beachfront as the sun was setting , where we found a picnic overlooking the Byron coastline with a neon sign saying : “ Marry Me ?”. Even a shower of rain halfway through did nothing to dampen the couple ’ s “ perfect moment ,” setting in motion the plans for a magnificent May wedding .
