Baby steps to healthy eating

Being healthy does not mean that you have to live by the rules of a chart . For instance , the BMI ( Body , Mass Index ) chart says that if you are 5 ’ 5 ” tall you should weigh between 112-150lbs ; anything over that then you are considered overweight . Now how many of us actually fall within those guidelines ? I am not even close . But does that make me unhealthy ? Maybe , maybe not . Does that put me at a higher risk of getting Diabetes , Cancer , or some other form of ailment ? Maybe , maybe not . In my opinion , being healthy is more about feeling good , energetic and eating foods that are healthier to keep your body working right . I never diet ; to me dieting is a temporary solution to a bigger problem ( no pun intended ). The key is to changing your eating habits so that you can get your body used to that lifestyle . Eating fast foods everyday is NO good for any of us ; whether you are big or small . I am going to share with you a few tips on how some things that you can enjoy without feeling like you are missing out on your flavors .
